What is the difference between the two drink mixes High Carb and Ultra High Carb?

The ratio of the two carbohydrates glucose and fructose.

The High Carb Drink Mix has a ratio of 2:1, so - according to current research - 80-100g of carbohydrates should be absorbed per hour.

The Ultra High Carb Drink Mix has a 1:0.8 ratio, meaning it contains more fructose. This increases your potential hourly carbohydrate intake, but tastes significantly sweeter.

Which drink mix is better for me?

In general, drinks with fewer high-dose carbohydrates are more pleasant to drink and also easier to digest.

For longer training sessions or very long competitions with medium intensity, we therefore recommend the High Carb Drink Mix.

However, at higher intensities, you can benefit from higher doses of carbohydrates, as you burn them in large quantities. The Ultra High Carb Drink Mix can help prevent fatigue and better maintain your performance.

What is cluster dextrin?

Cluster Dextrin, also known as highly branched cyclic dextrin (HBCD) , is a state-of-the-art carbohydrate source with a steady, fast, but stomach-friendly energy supply .

It has a low osmolarity , which means it passes through the stomach faster than other carbohydrates and causes fewer digestive problems.

Due to its stable, branched structure, it is absorbed into the blood more slowly than glucose but more efficiently than maltodextrin, allowing for a steady energy supply during exercise . This makes it particularly popular in sports drinks for endurance athletes , as it provides rapid energy without causing a blood sugar crash.
